If you were to ask anyone, if they would consider getting a body piercing, the response would very likely be a resounding, yes. For their own reasons, they choose not to, even though they really would like it. In many cases, their job dictates that having a ring in the nose, for example, would be inappropriate, and so they are very hesitant to go ahead with the piercing. However, it should be understood, that the piercing can be removed when you’re going to work, and it can be inserted again, when you’re out enjoying your social life.

If you’re looking to change your whole look, then a nose ring will definitely help you with that. There are a number of different types of the nose piercing’s available to you, and we will cover just a few of them here today.

  • The nostril piercing – This is probably the most popular type of piercing, and if you look around you on the high street, this will be the one that you will spot initially. The ring is placed right in the centre of the nostril, and it’s up to you, what side you would like to pick. It is a very striking piece of body jewellery, and then you can apply different nose rings, to suit the mood that you are in on any particular day.
  • The higher nostril piercing – This is similar to the one mentioned before, except that the nostril is pierced higher up on the nose, which comes quite close to the bridge. This one is a little less common, but it is a great choice, if you want to make yourself stand out from the crowd.
  • The piercing of the septum – This is the piercing that you won’t see as often as the other two, and it’s when they pierce through the septum right there in the middle of your nose. It is similar to the nose rings that you will see on a farm yard bull, and it is a fantastic fashion statement to make.

Whatever your choice, you are doing something that is still quite unique, even though its popularity is rising all the time. All you need to do, is to choose the type of nose ring that you would like to use, and then let the professionals do the rest. It is a pain-free exercise, and one that you will be glad that you did.
